April Fool's website silliness seems to have already started. (this post will be edited as I find more links and discover exactly what sites are doing for the day) Check out the links before midnight on the 1st, otherwise they'll all turn into pumpkins. Or something.

Harry Potter:
Fiction Alley, a Harry Potter fanfic archive, has been taken over by the Ministry of Magic.

The SugarQuill, another, more selective fanfic archive (very good fics, but only certain pairings allowed, and no Weasley bashing) is home to Harry Potter and the Toenail of Icklibõgg for the day. Joanie Squidward, the author, has writer's block and in the forum there's a round robin fic going on to complete the story. Also in the forum, several of the characters from the series are wandering about, interacting with the members and occasionally offering commentary on the evolving fic. You can see previous, more extensive April Fool's site modifications (Draco Malfoy taking over the site two years ago and last year's transformation into the headquarters of Weasley's Whizarding Wheezes) as well.

The Leaky Cauldron has been transformed into "Ask Peeves" (a parody of "Ask Jeeves") for the day.

The Harry Potter Automatic News Aggregator has once again transformed into a parody of the CNN website, called "PNN: The Potter News Network."

Veritaserum has been taken over by Voldemort. Try clicking on the links.

Godric's Hat, a forum for Harry Potter genfic, is now superficially "Mr. Darcy's Love Pond."

The Witching Hour, normally a site for a HP convention/symposium...thing (I'm afraid I'm pretty unfamiliar with the site in its normal form) has been taken over by an evil hat.

Mega Man/Rockman:
Rockman EXE Online has not undergone a main page transformation like last year. However, a few game characters seem to have turned up in the forums (and I'm not talking about the eleventy-twelve people that are unoriginal enough to choose stuff like "Forte.EXE" as their usernames). *sits back to wait and see how long it takes people to figure out who "Rockman," "Blues," "Forte," and "Planetman" are.*
ETA: And the filter on the forum is back. Ow, my inner grammarian.

Wolfpack Productions has released the subbed first episode of RMEXE Stream. I'd figured it to be a gag, but from what I know of Japanese, the subtitles aren't messed up or anything. I guess the gag is that it was only up for a few hours, and if you go into the channel now, you'll get a general, "What are you talking about?" reaction. (if you couldn't get it and you're interested, let me know and I'll try and upload it to yousendit or something).

Bob and George celebrates its anniversary on April Fool's each year. No goofy new layout, but there's always a very large comic to kick off the party, which usually continues for a few days' worth of comics. Also check out "The Karnak Show," under subcomics.

Fullmetal Alchemist:
Touka Koukan, a fanfic archive, has a new graphic for its title.

Other:
Overclocked Remix, home to brilliant video game remixes, is now EA Remix, to reflect their new partnership with Electronic Arts. Also see Duck Hunt Remix, on the mission to remix every single track of music from the NES classic. :P

The MPAA apparently caught up with Little Gamers, a webcomic.

APoD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) has found water on Mars.

Google has come out with a new beverage.

Wikimedia has been taken over by Encylopaedia Britannica.

Apple founder Steve Jobs has joined Ikea.

ThinkGeek has a bunch of new products, available for a limited time only.

Gmail is offering more storage than ever to its users (this one might actually be somewhat based in truth, but their presentation of it is pretty goofy).

Nature has a report on how Apollo bacteria are causing lunar erosion.

Freshwater sharks have been released into the Manchester canal.

And lastly,
Things that sound like April Fool's pranks but aren't.
