Wow. Somebody was dropped on their head as a child on a regular basis. If you've been to the Mega Man section of fanfiction.net recently, you've probably seen reviews by Natt Shepard, who specializes in making offensive statements about people's sexuality and making genocidal remarks about the Japanese. Being Japanese-American, and having actually had a couple of those slurs directed at me in the past, I took it a bit more personally than I probably should have. The coward started including an e-mail address in his anonymous reviews, so I e-mailed him, telling him what an immature little git he was being. I wasn't expecting a civil reply. I didn't get one.

I like how he can't even spell his insults correctly. The second comment is actually a bit funny in a warped sort of way, since in order to do that, he'd have to be into necrophilia.

What's odd is that I had the same thing happen with my fic, from the same person, but when I e-mailed him back, I DID get a civil response. The person I e-mailed told me that someone had been posting reviews under his name, leaving behind his e-mail address. I'm inclined to believe him, since why would a flamer purposely leave behind their e-mail, then deny doing the flaming?

Innocent until proven guilty. What we may have here is a case of identity theft.
