*ahem*
Er, I mean, hi, I'm back home, safe and relatively sound. Don't want to get in a car again for another two weeks or so.
I feel like such a hick now. After five months of living out in Middle of Nowhere, Idaho, when we got to Rapid City (the first major city since leaving), I was like, "Wow, this place is ginormous!" I think if I had been confronted with someplace like Chicago or New York at that point, my brain would've exploded. There was a part of me which was going, "Whoa, look at how tall those buildings are!"
The part of me which actually was paying attention during the rest of my life pointed out, "They're only four stories tall."
"Yeah, four stories! I'll bet they even have stairs and elevators and stuff!"
...and my dad's going ballistic downstairs over something. I should see what his problem is. Or hide. >_
