Y'know how I said in an earlier post that I got to play ProtoMan. I lied. That wasn't really playing ProtoMan. Due to a series of really nasty events, at the point in the game where I'm at now, MegaMan has gone evil, working for the bad guys, and Chaud lent Lan ProtoMan to use (since the poor guy probably wasn't getting out much--Chaud's rather busy in this game with not-netbattling things). It's really, really weird. You have ProtoMan's head up by your little PET thingummy in the corner of the screen, and just reading Lan saying, "Jack in, ProtoMan.EXE, transmission!" is odd. And I miss MegaMan. ProtoMan's kind of...well...he's not as friendly. It's not as godawful as when there was nobody in the PET, and all the messages were like, "SELECT MAIL TO READ," but he's definitely just there to do his job. Actually, I kind of wonder if Protoman.EXE even knows how to be friendly. I think he thinks that Lan's a bit of an idiot, too.
