I did a little experiment last night entitled "Does the Rice Cooker in the House Work?" The answer: yes, but not very well. Some of the rice was soggy, and some of it was almost crunchy.
I'm inching my way through "Megamix 2," which I've sort of read before, but this time I'm actually looking up the words and any grammer stuff I don't know and attempting to do some sort of translation. I'm kind of surprising myself, though, with how much I don't need to look up. I guess I actually have picked up some vocab from going through games and stuff in Japanese, although the vocab expansion tends towards words like "explosion," "defeat," "fight," and "weapon." Not exactly helpful for everyday conversation, but it does come in handy when you're reading about a bunch of robots shooting at each other. ^_^
