Apr. 17th, 2005 11:39 amGood grief, I go home for the weekend (where the internet connection is slow and shaky at best), and
sages_of_chaos erupts in Mega Man characters. I tried to keep up with it, but since the browser kept freezing at the sight of the community, I had to give it up.
In real life news, I now own a shiny new car. Well, okay, it's not actually new — no way I could afford a new car, even if my dad did chip in quite a bit as an early graduation present. But it is shiny. It has a sunroof, which I think is stupid and completely unnecessary, but the rest of it fits my needs nicely. Part of me finds the idea of owning an SUV absolutely repugnant, but considering where I'm going to be working and what I'm going to be doing, the 4-wheel drive and the extra storage space will come in very handy. And it's a little 5-passenger SUV, so it's not like I'm driving one of those monster ones that get like ten miles to the gallon and you can fit half of Montana inside.
