No huge surprises there. I've lived in the Upper Midwest all my life. The Yankee influence comes from my mom who, although she was also from the Midwest, started using some East Coast terms as a kid because she thought it was cool. And I sometimes say "y'all" just because I like it better than "you guys." It's less gender-specific. I wonder why the West Coast or the Rocky Mountain region doesn't get its own "linguistic profile"? I'm sure there's got to be some regional quirks there.
