May. 15th, 2005 09:37 amIn about an hour, I shall bid farewell to my shiny college ethernet connection forever. So sad. Then it's home for two weeks, and then off to Idaho. In terms of all things internetty (we'll just pretend that's a word, okay?), this means that my internet access is going to be very slow, sporadic, and prone to giving out without warning for about two weeks, and then … well, I know I'll have some internet access in Idaho by getting into the office after hours, but how often I'll be able to do that in practice and whether or not I'd be able to do stuff like post fanfiction isn't really something I'll know until I get there. Also, I'm going to be losing AIM access until who-knows-when, so don't hold your breath waiting for me to get on.
And I realize that the last story I posted is really parallel to my life right now to a kind of startling degree. I swear all of that except for the last couple paragraphs and a few minor rephrasings was written well over a year ago. Any resemblance between X's situation and my situation are entirely coincidental, aside from the fact that he's moving out (which was why I chose that story in particular to finish up and post).
