Whoa, I just found out that the NY state senate is finally going to vote on same-sex marriage tonight! It's already been passed by the Assembly (i.e. "House"), and Gov. Cuomo has been working on behalf of the legislation. As it stands, they're only one vote short, going by what senators have said they'll vote. I'm really, really, really hoping they get that one last vote.
