I had a very happy Thanksgiving with my brother and his BF. Lots of good food, including collard greens and cornbread stuffing which I tried for the first time (the former quite good, and the latter all right, but also containing a lot of eggs, which made it taste more like a strata to my palate). Also, a goodly amount of trashy TV, including a Taylor Swift concert thingummy. Watching it with those two was quite interesting, since Brother is, among other things, a choreographer, and BF is a photographer. So together they had a lot to say about her gestures, her hair, the lighting, etc.

Also, because I have managed to traumatize two people with it already and want to continue spreading the joy, here is a recipe for a Thanksgiving cake.
