Sep. 24th, 2009 04:39 pmSo, I worked out the schedule for tomorrow's flight to California (yay wedding of one of my favorite cousins!). I gave myself extra time for the fact that, although I can do a reasonable facsimile of walking like a normal person by now, it tends to be at a browsing-at-the-mall speed. Schedule looks like this:
3:10 - leave the apartment
3:25 - arrive at coworker's-house-that-is-close-to-the-train-station and park the car
3:55 - LIRR train leaves from station (this is an important part, as if I miss this one, everything else after this will have to be bumped up an hour, and I will have to hobble very quickly in order to catch my flight)
4:29 - arrive at Jamaica (Jamaica, Queens, obviously, not the island)
4:40ish - get on the AirTrain
4:50ish - arrive at JFK
This is a good schedule. It is a fine schedule. Until you realize that all those times are AM.
