Thing 1: A link to a page in Japanese that's an ad(?) for a Barack Obama action figure. The pictures of Ways To Pose Your Obama Figure get progressively more and more stupid/awesome until you get to the one where he's battling Darth Vader.
Thing 2: I set off the smoke alarm while cooking dinner. Go me. In my defense, I've never done that before, and it wasn't because I was actually burning anything, but rather because I was making a Thai stir-fry which, since I've always made it on stoves that actually have ventilation before, I didn't realize makes a lot of smoke. It sure is yummy, though.
