Hoenheim does not play well with others
Apr. 8th, 2005 09:26 pmWent to Rosedale (local mall) today to buy some jeans, since I owned the amazing total of one pair that did not have a hole in it somewhere. I got the jeans (absurdly cheap, too, since there was something like five different discounts that I managed to pile up), and I also found on my way out that a new Japanese import store had sprung up in the mall. I didn't actually get anything, despite all my drooling over the FMA mechandise and Inuyasha OSTs, but this might prove to be dangerous in the future, should I come back there actually having any spare cash on hand. I've never seen a store that carries that sort of stuff in Minnesota before.
For my pre-modern medicine class, I'm reading stuff written by the real Hoenheim, (rather than the one that is Edward and Alphonse Elric's father) and boy is he an arrogant, bitter man. He's got some good ideas, but he apparently didn't get along very well with the other major medical figures of the time, and he keeps on making thinly-veiled insults at them.
