Ladies and gentlemen, I have seen many a strange thing while working at this park. I have seen spiders as big as your palm, antelope fighting through a fence, and a prairie dog bark angrily at a visitor for not giving it food (way to go people--thanks for feeding the wildlife and altering their natural behavior). However, one of the garter snakes I saw today wins at weird. Why? Because it was in a bush. There it was, sitting in the branches, about two feet off the ground. WTF tree snake. Wish I'd had my camera with me.
