I've been putting photo links to maps of caves in the park today, and wow, there are certainly some...creative names out there.
There's the ones which seem to be named after whatever time of the day it was when they were discovered: Lunch Cave and End Of Day Cave, for example. Some seem to be named after interesting features: Spongy Floor Cave, Moldy Trees Cave, Dead Deer Cave, Far Fall Down Cave, and possibly Sneaky Side Door and Rotting Tooth Caves. There's a couple which apparently earned their names by being really pathetic excuses for caves: Insignificant Cave, Disappointment Cave and Wannabe Cave. And then there's the ones which I can't come up with any explanation for (or at least not one that I'd like to ponder overlong). Underpants Cave, for example. Then there's my personal favorite, Screaming Jaws Of Death.
