Went shopping yesterday in the Big Town Which Is Sort Of But Not Really Nearby ("big town" meaning "has more people than my high school"). While making the obligatory stop at Target, I noticed that all the school stuff was on a huge clearance markdown. "Why is all that stuff so cheap?" I wondered. Then it hit me. Duh. It's after Labor Day. School's started. It's started and I'm not in it for the first time in seventeen years (first time in nineteen years if you count nursery school). That's a really bizarre feeling.
