Aug. 28th, 2005 06:11 pmIs it just me, or are the birds getting stupider? One of the problems around here is that the birds occasionally mistake windows for not-windows and try to fly through them, resulting in a sound like:
*WHUMP*
"Chirp!"
This usually happens about once every couple of days. Today it's happened at least five times. Fortunately, no birds seem to have been permanently injured--they all walk or fly away just fine--which is good, since the tape put in the windows to supposedly keep this from happening doesn't seem to be too effective.
At least the bats haven't started doing it. Then I'd really have to start worrying.
