bobcatmoranMother of vinegar, this past 24-hour news cycle. My head is full to bursting with things I want to get out, and I am having a devil of a time focusing enough to get ready for the phone interview I have tomorrow morning (long story short: same job, different state, strong potential for having to move in the next couple of weeks in exchange for job security).
In short, yay striking down DOMA; yay Wendy Davis, Leticia Van De Putte, and the Dems in the Texas Senate and a huge "boo" for Rick Perry. Also, I am side-eyeing the Supreme Court's ruling on the Voting Rights Act because it basically dumps the ability to enforce the act in the future in Congress's lap. Given Congress's recent track record in getting anything productive done, I am not optimistic.
Add to that a couple of very loud Les Mis plotbunnies, and my ability to focus on what I need to focus on is terrible.
Okay. Interview. Right. *sigh*
