Spiderman glasses?

I went shopping for new glasses with my dad yesterday (I'm blind enough without glasses that I need someone to come with me because I can't see what I look like in new frames without being about three inches from the mirror, and my eyes are too sensitive for contacts). He went off on this tangent about how, when he last went glasses shopping, he saw these really cool sunglasses that he'd have liked to get if they weren't so insanely expensive. "If Spiderman wore sunglasses, they'd be like that."

"Huh?"

"They're like Spiderman sunglasses."

*tries to envision what "Spiderman sunglasses" would look like. Ventures a hesitant guess.* "You mean wraparound sunglasses?"

"Yeah, like Spiderman."

Somehow, when I think of wraparound sunglasses, Spiderman is not what immediately springs to mind. My father's mind works in mysterious ways.
