Jan. 9th, 2009 07:54 pmSo I finally gave in and bought a TV. It's still sitting in its box. I have a feeling it's going to be staying in there for a few days until I get up the nerve to either open the dang thing or return it. I feel like such a sellout. People sometimes look at me like I have three arms when I say, "I don't have a TV," but I honestly haven't missed it all that much, except for big events like the Olympics and election night. But I'd hate to have brought a box full of my old NES, games, and accessories all the way out here for nothing. And since my Playstation emulator doesn't work with my new laptop, I've been looking into picking up a used PS2 (again, I'd hate to have brought all those games out here with me for nothing). And, of course, I need something to plug that into.
I guess the TV can stay. Now I just need to figure out where to put it. Actually, if I just scootch my desk over a couple feet and put the lamp next to my reading chair...yeah. That'll work. Oh, except the cable outlet is on the other side of the room. Why the heck is it right under the window? That's dumb. Argh. I'll figure this out. Somehow.
